2.4.8 24-Port 10/100Base-TX Line Card

The 24-port 10/100Base-TX line card contains 24 independent Ethernet ports. Each port senses whether it is connected

to a 10-Mbps segment or a 100-Mbps segment and automatically configures itself as a 10Base-T or 100Base-TX port.

Figure 2-8 shows the front panel of the 24-port 10/100Base-TX line card.

RJ-45 Connectors

The following table lists the pin assignments for the RJ-45 connectors on the 10/100Base-TX and for the RJ-45

connectors on the device at the other end of the network segment cables.
