Hardware Overview Introduction
Per-port Link /Alarm Green – indicates that the line card detects a cable plugged into the port and a good link
is established.
Yellow – T1 any alarm.
Red – the Alarm Indication Signal (AIS); indicates that there is a transmission fault
located either at or upstream from the transmitting terminal.
Per-port RX Yellow – indicates that the port’s transceiver is receiving data.
Off – indicates a loss of signal or service disruption.
Test Port Active Green – indicates that the test port is active and in monitor mode.
Yellow – indicates that the test port is active and in drop and insert mode
